The Body Con Project -- 2014 collaborative work with artist NIC Kay

The Body Con Project is a collaborative process driven video work created by Amina Ross and NIC Kay. This piece is heavily influenced by music videos of the 1990s and early 2000s and the dissonance they created for the artists between images of the “body” and the body itself. This relationship specifically as it relates to the hyper visible black feminine body.
